We are seeking an Integration Engineer to join us on a full-time basis. The Integration Engineer will be involved in the design, development, testing, deployment and support of integration solutions and may also work on projects that have a development component that forms part of a larger solution. This larger solution may include custom integration, third party vendor software and other development components. You will be working as part of a wider Technical Services Team and will participate in various Implementation projects and service opportunities.
Day to day you will:
- Integration development with various integration tools
- Maintain interfaces for integrated solutions
- Provide specialist integration technical advice and participate in implementation projects of our software and services
- Be part of our wider support and delivery teams to support our customer base (including participating in out of hours rosters as appropriate)
- Assist in providing recommendations back to the product teams on improvements to be made to aid delivery and support
- Other duties as required

About You
You work well in a team or autonomously and you are engaging, confident and flexible in your working style. You have strong attention to detail, and time management skills.
Your background includes:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or IT, or equivalent experience in healthcare IT
- Java development experience in a commercial or government environment
- Good analytical skills and problem-solving ability, combined with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of HL7, FHIR and other Healthcare integration standards
- Experience in Mirth, Rhapsody, JCAPS (or similar Health Integration Engines)
- Experience in methods of data migration/manipulation
- Experience with scalable interfaces to support a range of solution sizes
- Skills in SQL, Javascript, XML, Webservice, Microsoft platforms
The following is not essential, but will be considered highly desirable:
- Healthcare integration experience (highly desirable)
- Experience in software development within the healthcare environment
- Experience in translating User Requirements into deliverables and tasks
- Microsoft Developer or other Certification
- Deployment and operations in cloud environments (Azure, GCP and/or AWS)
- Any experience in working with large electronic medical record (EMR) solutions would be an advantage (as would experience in Cerner CCL)
- Working knowledge of
- TCP/IP networking
- cloud-native architecture principles
