Strategic Client Partner


The Strategic Client Partner is responsible for revenue growth in Australia by generating, developing, and closing sales to both new and existing customers in his or her defined territory.

This full time position is responsible for building strong relationships across the healthcare technology market to drive commercial activity. The individual should thrive in a fast-paced healthcare business environment and have a strong ability to build relationships at C-Suite level, with a focus on long term customer success and delivering win-win outcomes.

Day to day you will:

  • Managing relationships with existing accounts in your defined territory, identifying targets for business growth using a structured target account planning approach and improving customer satisfaction
  • Developing sales growth from net new customers in your territory through delivering credible, evidence-based, compelling value propositions, e.g., challenger sales methodology
  • Effectively build, manage, and maintain long-term customer relationships at C-suite level (both new and existing accounts)
  • Understand and assess customer clinical, operational, and financial needs and presenting suitable solutions from our range of services and products
  • Build positive, trusted relationships with clinical representatives and hospital management to influence targeted groups in the decision-making process
  • Build relationships with current and potential partner organisations to determine how the partner can help Alcidion deliver value to our prospects and customer
  • Representing Alcidion at industry events
  • Providing detail and expertise into bi-weekly sales action, quarterly target account planning, annual marketing and quarterly sales campaign planning activities
  • Negotiate customer contracts
  • Resolve customer escalations and disputes where required
  • Assist with competitive intelligence analysis
  • Own and execute Target Account plans and Win Themes for each customer or prospect
  • Bringing relevant skills and stakeholders of Alcidion together to drive opportunities through the sales funnel most efficiently
  • Work with the wider business to provide commercial guidance and workflow insight during solution development process
  • Travel requirement of up to 50% of your time, mostly domestic but some international
  • Other duties as required

About you

You work well in a team or autonomously and you are engaging, confident and flexible in your working style. You have strong attention to detail and time management skills.

Your background includes:

  • Proven experience in health IT sales
  • Proven individual sales success, consistently meeting or exceeding revenue targets
  • Consistently focussed on delivering win-win outcomes and long-term customer success
  • Highly personally motivated and goal oriented, thrives developing new business
  • Ability to work both autonomously and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment, using an interactive, open and approachable working style where knowledge is shared
  • Strong work ethic, with an understanding of how your behaviour impacts the team and a willingness to deliver on your commitments
  • Ability to clearly demonstrate Alcidion’s Values
  • Strong knowledge of clinical workflows
  • Strong phone, written, verbal, presentation and interpersonal communication skills, with a proven ability to maintain strong relationships with stakeholders
  • Ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks in a fast paced, multidisciplinary environment
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong business acumen
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Products and online Microsoft Dynamics CRM

The following are considered desirable:

  • A Bachelor’s degree qualification in a relevant field preferred
  • Ability to bring a network of contacts from the public health sector
