SEAN WALKER

Sean is an accomplished technology executive with over 25 years of proven leadership in driving digital transformation and innovation across healthcare systems. Since joining Alcidion in 2015, he has been pivotal in establishing the company as a leader in clinical intelligence solutions, advancing to the role of CTO in 2024.  In this role, Sean ensures Alcidion’s products remain cutting-edge and are delivered on time to meet customer needs. 

Sean leads the architectural development and evolution of Miya Precision, Alcidion’s flagship clinical decision support platform. Under his technical leadership, Miya Precision delivers real-time clinical intelligence to healthcare providers across multiple countries, directly impacting patient safety and operational efficiency at scale.  

Sean brings international experience, having worked across Canada, the United States, and Australia, developing and implementing solutions for tertiary healthcare institutes.  Prior to Alcidion, he held senior positions with Tier 1 consulting organisations, leading the deployment of Enterprise Software Solutions within hospitals, government, and other industries. 

He holds a BSc in Health Information Science from the University of Victoria, Canada and remains hands-on in emerging technologies while building world-class engineering teams and fostering a culture of innovation
